The Appointment Pad add-on module allows you to easily set, change, and delete appointments in SHOPpro for Windows. This powerful tool consists of two parts... a sorted, daily appointment list and an appointment scheduler. They work seamlessly together with SHOPpro to make handling appointments a breeze.
The appointment scheduler is a highly interactive tool, presenting a unique visual overview of your appointment load. It's week-at-a-glance approach is similar to visually checking a large weekly appointment pad on your service counter. The busy sections of each week are immediately apparent and the days with abundant openings are easy to spot. Directing your customer appointments to light days and open time slots couldn't be easier.
In addition, you're allowed to view and/or print appointment detail reports at any time. These reports can be used as an appointment reminder call-sheet for your next day's business.

Text Messaging |

SHOPpro for Windows offers built-in text messaging, allowing you to send unlimited messages to your customers regarding their vehicle status. It will also send out automatic appointment reminders by text message, unless you decide to turn that feature off.
Text messaging is part of the Customer Contact feature. SHOPpro lets you keep track of how each customer wants to be contacted during the course of their repairs... text messaging being one of those options. You can create and maintain your own custom list of messages that users can select from when they need to reach out to a customer via text.
Being able to text your customers will improve your business image, streamline things at the service counter, and reduce appointment no-shows!

Digital Vehicle Inspection |

SHOPpro offers you the ability to perform a Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) on any of your customers’ vehicles. If you desire, you can optionally send an Internet link for any inspection directly to the customer’s phone or computer via text message or e-mail, so they can review it and get back to you.
You’re allowed to customize the list of categories that are included in your digital inspection sheet, as well as the “elements” you want to inspect within each category. Each inspected element is given a rating (Bad, Poor, Fair or Good) and may also contain optional inspector remarks (typed in or voice-typed into the device) along with an optional photo, if necessary.
A DVI may be edited on any PC or handheld device that has an Internet browser, including smart phones and tablet computers (iPhone or Android). No special hardware is required. In short... if your device can get to the Internet, you can use it to perform a DVI.

SPW Service Bay Whiteboard |

SHOPpro for Windows offers the Whiteboard add-on module, which is a standalone program written to interface seamlessly with the SHOPpro database. It can be run at any networked workstation in your shop, but is intended primarily to be run in the service area for technician access.
The Whiteboard greatly reduces the frustration that can arise when communication between the front counter and the service bays is lacking. Your shop's work-in-progress is always displayed in real-time on the Whiteboard. Every new Work Order entered at the front counter appears on the Whiteboard with an optional notification (sound and/or pop-up message).
Technicians can easily print their own Work Orders, update labor item status (RUSH, HOLD, or DONE), change a Work Order to a Finished job, and update vehicle information (VIN, license plate, odometer readings, etc.). Technicians can also read and edit the notes field on each repair order, facilitating back-and-forth communication with the front counter.
The list of repair orders on the Whiteboard can be sorted by customer name or vehicle description. A technician can also filter the list to only include his or her repair orders. To keep the list clear of old, pending repair orders, the list can also be filtered by age (based on due-date).

SHOPpro for Windows offers a built-in e-mail coupon designer along with a scheduler that allows for automatic e-mail batches, as well as immediate batches. The scheduler also provides a way for you to send out news, bulletins and general information to your customers via e-mail news blasts.
SHOPpro's e-mail coupon designer gives you the ability to create and store up to 999 custom coupons for electronic distribution to every customer in your SHOPpro database, provided they have an e-mail address on file.
The coupon designer uses a unique WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) user interface to make coupon creation easier than you might imagine. The included 25-page user's guide gives you step-by-step instructions on how to create professional-looking coupons.

SPW - Remote ... the remote access version of SHOPpro for Windows. A high-speed connection to the Internet (DSL or Cable) is all you need to run SHOPpro remotely and access your shop's data from anywhere. Installing SPW Remote on your home PC or laptop computer is simple. You can even install it on a USB memory stick and run SPW Remote from any PC that you plug that memory stick into, even on the beach in Hawaii.
Shop owners will enjoy the ability to leave the shop at closing time, knowing they can use their PC at home to finish up their business day instead of staying late at the shop. Absentee shop owners can connect as a workstation at any time to check up on the day's progress. Shop owners on vacation can keep tabs on what's happening in the shop.
