Just about any computer you can buy today will be sufficient for running SHOPpro for Windows. SHOPpro for Windows is designed to run on all versions of Windows from 7 and up, including Windows 11 (32-bit or 64-bit).

SHOPpro for Windows is a single-site, multi-user software. You can have unlimited users on your LAN (Local Area Network) using UNC (Universal Naming Convention) or drive letter mapping.

High Speed Internet Access

A high speed Internet connection such as DSL or Cable is required for the SPW-Remote Access add-on feature. It should be noted that Cable Internet connections are faster and more reliable than DSL. Also, DSL connections are much more subject to "load conditions". This means that during busy times your connection may drop or slow considerably, leading to an unsatisfactory experience for business use.

We also recommend that you have a high speed Internet connection to make technical support faster and easier.


Printers

SHOPpro for Windows uses ink-jet or laser printers for repair orders and reports, supporting black & white or color.  Repair orders can be completely printed by SHOPpro for Windows on inexpensive single-sheet printer paper.

Note:
Ink-jet and deskjet printers will work with SHOPpro for Windows but are not recommended as your primary printer for work orders because of high ink cost and slow speed when producing multiple copies. However, they do work very well for the color output you may desire on the final invoice copy given to your customers as well as for color postcards (service reminders) and address labels. For this reason, we usually recommend a laser or LED page printer as your primary printer, with an inexpensive color inkjet as a secondary printer.
